The Ten Uganda 2000 Districts
The Honourable Manuel Pinto, a Member of Parliament in
Uganda, and Eric Goulding the Uganda 2000 Programme Coordinator
signed the Uganda 2000 Partnership Agreement between the Uganda
Scout Association and the UK/Uganda Network in April 1999.
The Uganda Scout Association has nominated ten Districts to participate
directly in the Uganda 2000 Programme. These are:
In addition 2000 projects have been undertaken in Mityana (Northumberland), Avonja (Jinja), Leader Training, Pencils for Uganda and in Bromley UK (CampDowne 2000).
