Explorer Belt Summer 2003

August 2003 for 3 to 4 weeks

Nick Winter from Avon is leading the expedition. He was the Expeditions and Explorer Belt Leader for Uganda 2000 and a similar programme will be available. He is recruiting team members now.

The visit includes an opportunity to climb Mount Elgon. A mountain on the equator where snow exists at the summit. The plan is to arrive early in the morning to see a most spectacular dawn. Also included in the visit is an oppotunity to visit one of the National Parks to see the sort of wildlife you can only see in Africa.
