The Ugandan Expedition will be a full trek up Mount Elgon using the Mount Elgon Guides Association. More than 30 young people have taken this option to climb Uganda's second highest mountain where temperatures can drop alarmingly from the warmth of the valleys and plains below.
The Expedition is being fully supported by an experienced Service Crew lead by Andrew Cooke.
The plans have been approved by the UK Scout Association.
