Uganda 2006
an expedition into Africa - The Twin or Three Peaks of East Africa

The Africa Network will be organising an expedition in 2006 to Uganda and Tanzania to climb the Twin Peaks of Elgon or Magharita and Kilimanjaro though there is a suggestion that this will have an optional extra of climbing Mount Kenya for those with more experience in mountian climbing. If you are interested in this extra option do ensure that you register your interest early.

Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania

The 7th Epsom (Epsom & Ewell District) are planning a major
expedition to Mayuge and Tororo (Uganda) in 2006 this will also
involve smaller visits in March 2004 and 2005 to both follow up past
projects and plan for 2006.

The expedition will last for 3 weeks in August 2006 and include a safari in Uganda or Kenya, attendance at the Camporee in Uganda.

Experience for UK Scouts - projects for Uganda scouts
Projects include protected water springs, developing camp
site(s), building/enhancing playground(s), building International
Scout centre in Tororo.
