Football is the most popular game in Uganda and it is not uncommon to have 50,000 supporters at the main stadium in Kampala to watch a game. However, internationally, Uganda is most famous for boxing.

Other sports which have great public following include, athletics, badminton, rugby, cricket, netball and sailing.

3. Something new With your friends try at least one other sport you have never played before.
4. Pumping iron Organise a visit to a fitness centre or professional football club to find out about the equipment used and the reasons why.
