    February Network Meeting

    The next meeting of the UK-Uganda Network Members will take place on Sunday 3 February 2002.

    The venue is: Gravelly Court, Gravelly Bridge Farm, Grazeley Green Road, Grazeley, Reading RG7 1LG.   This is the administration centre of Berkshire Scout Enterprises Limited, situated 1 mile south of Junction 11 - M4.  For directions, and a map, please click here!

    The meeting will commence at 10.00 with a Buffet Lunch and finish at the latest 16.00hrs.

    This will give members an opportunity of updating on progress of current and new projects, members visits to Uganda in the months ahead and, in particular, planning arrangements for the many activities, including an Explorer Belt Expedition in 2003.

    This is an open meeting for those wishing to know more about our work and networking between members.

    Please note that whilst the formation of a Fellowship will be an item for discussion, the matter will not be decided at this meeting.

    Message from International Commissioner

    International Commissioner, David Bull, sent the following greeting to all Network Members -
    "Thanks for everything you have done for our International work this year - and thanks in advance for everything you will be doing in 2002!

    I am proud of all that we have achieved and really appreciate the efforts made by so many people."

    May Network Meeting

    The May meeting of the Network which will be of the usual weekend style and will include activities and an opportunity to exchange ideas and progress in a social environment will be held during the weekend of 17 - 19 May 2002.

    The Meeting is to be held at Walesby Forest Camp Site in Nottinghamshire approximately 22 miles north of Nottingham.

    There is limited indoor accommodation, an adjacent caravan site and plenty of space for camping. Please contact Marion Stagg for further information.
